I almost forgot to relay the most exciting news for the Burnett Family. Jackson and Reagan have another new baby boy cousin--Carson Adrian Burnett. He was born Sept. 15th. He is the most adorable thing ever, once again has the best hair--must be a Burnett thing --(refer to new baby cousin Luke back in May), and he looks just like his mama!! We can not wait to meet him and will be heading up there in November for the baby blessing. I don't have any pictures, yet, but will post soon... Congratulations AD and Heather!!

The Sword
When my brothers were little, I remember they would play He-Man with their swords. My brother Adam found a sword just like the one he use to play with as a kid. He was so excited and bought it. Alas, he and his family moved and needed to get rid of some things, and the sword had to go, but.... Adam passed the sword along to Jackson, you should have seen Jackson's face light up!! He carries it with him everywhere in the back of his shirt (except preschool and other places where weapons aren't allowed). He even sleeps with it. Thank you Adam for being willing to part with such a cherished item and to pass it along to the next generation of swordsmen...Jackson will cherish it until he passes it along someday to his nephew (if it lasts that long). He loves that sword almost as much as his computer!!

Welcome Home Dave!
Matt's brother, Dave, returned from his mission earlier this month. He faithfully served in the Boise, Idaho mission, spanish speaking. We are so excited to have him home! Reagan was only a few days old when he left, so she got to meet him for the first time (that she remembers) and now is always asking for uncle dave. Jackson is so excited to have his computer game playing buddy back. Welcome home Dave!
Happy, Happy Birthday Ray, Ray!
Our little Reagan, shown here doing one of her favorite things--jumping, turned two on Sunday. I can't believe how fast she has grown. She is a bundle of energy, blessed with the Sage spirit, and filled with sweetness. She loves to play in the water, hug her big brother (when she is not pulling his hair), throw tantrums, and she never stops moving. She especially has her daddy wrapped around her little finger, and most others who look into those big brown eyes. I love watching her grow and learn--she is truly a beautiful little girl, inside and out, and her spunk keeps me on my toes--every minute is something different to discover. We love you Ray, Ray! Happy Birthday!
