Carson's Baby Blessing

We were all together for Thanksgiving for Carson's (my new little nephew) blessing. Here is a picture of us all together and then one of Jackson and Reagan playing around.

Temple Square Lights

One of the nights we were in Utah for Thanksgiving (see later posts) we went to see the lights on Temple Square. It was so crowded that we only stayed a little bit, but the kids had fun looking at the lights (as you can see from Ray's face, below).

Engagement Park

We took the kids, while we were in Utah, to the park where Matt and I got engaged at. The kids loved it!

Turkey Day

We spent Thanksgiving all together (the Burnett Family) at my grandparents' home in Utah. We had a blast being together, eating wonderful food (thank you grandpa, grandma, and my aunts and uncles), and trying to keep warm (we have been spoiled by California weather).

Thanksgiving in Utah

My entire family was together for Thanksgiving in Utah this year for the blessing of my new little nephew, Carson. We loved all being together, turkey dinner with my grandparents, and meeting Carson for the first time...

Uncles

Jackson loves hanging out with all of his uncles more than anything else--he has five (and Bobby!). Here are some pictures of my bro, Adam, and Jackson at Camelot playing games. We had to drag Jackson away (and Adam!), they had a blast!

For Rent

It is almost time for us to say goodbye to our beautiful little Creekside Home. We should be moving the first week in December (if all goes as planned). If you know of anyone looking to rent, here is some more info on the house: www.creeksidehome.com.

Almost there!

Our home is expected to close the first week in December. We will be doing our final walk through Nov. 18th (Buck's Birthday!). You never know until the keys are in your hand, but it is looking better than ever that we will be moving in December. When (and if) it finally goes through, I will send out our new address in our Christmas Cards. Hope all is well! I might not have any new pictures or blog entries until after our move, but I will have plenty for Christmas!

Here are 6 quirky things about me:

1)I can never eat the last bite of anything, no matter how hungry I am (wasteful, I know).

2)I insist that I can taste the difference between brand name and store brand canned fruits and vegetables (among other things). I know it's probably not true, Matt has spent our entire marriage trying to convince me that I am wrong, but I buy the name brands anyways...

3) I love to budget. I have spent almost every Wednesday morning our entire marriage (6 years) on the computer updating our family Budget in Excel and doing our finances. I actually look forward to it (I need to get a hobby, I know). Looking back now, I wish I would have majored in Finance...

4) I don't like to talk on the phone, crazy, because my calling never lets me off of it (how I love email!).

5) I don't like to have lots of furniture and things cluttering up my house. I fight Matt every time he wants to add a piece of furniture or picture to our house. The less things in a room, the better, because it feels cleaner to me that way. (Since we are packing, it is filled with clutter and it is driving me crazy).

6) I do not like to leave my kids with babysitters, only family. It makes me nervous (I am hoping that will change as they get a bit older).

Disneyland

In a previous blog, I told everyone we would be venturing out to the "Happiest Place on Earth" when I started feeling better, well, we have gone three times (the last three weeks) and here are just a couple of pictures. By the way, does anyone else think that Jackson is
starting to look a lot like Matt (minus the blonde hair and blue eyes)?
