Great Hair!
This is my little nephew, Luke. Isn't he a doll? He already has more hair than both of my children combined and he isn't even two months yet. My dad is always asking my brother and sis-in-law when they are going to get him a hair cut. Sure different than my nearly bald babies (although Ray did have a little bit more hair than Jackson). It has been so fun to see my little nieces and nephews come into the world (AD is up next!)--Jackson and Reagan sure love their cousins and aren't even the least bit jealous of the great hair they enter this world with (I am, though :)).

4th of July
The 4th of July (like many of you) is my absolute favorite holiday (Christmas is a close second). I love that it is a day of picnics, fireworks, and mostly just being together as families to celebrate the birth of this incredible nation. So, a few weeks late, Happy fourth of July to everyone! We began the day with our ward Flag Raising Ceremony and Pancake Breakfast, followed by a family picture in our matching shirts. We then took Jackson to see a movie, had dinner and then went to Yorba Linda, where we have gone every year since I was a teenager, to see the Fireworks. It is so great because the whole city is there! We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!
Tradition: Matching Old Navy Shirts for everyone--you just can't beat $5 a shirt! My dad and Jackson playing at the park

3rd of July
Matt and I started a new family tradition. We went to the beach on July 3rd and stayed through the evening. We had a wonderful time relaxing and the kids loved playing with their grandparents, digging in the sand, and running from the waves. We roasted hotdogs, had potato salad and watermelon, and just sat by the fire. It was a beautiful day at the beach and we just loved being together.

Aunts and Uncles
I just wanted to dedicate this post to Jackson and Reagan's aunts and uncles. My children love their Aunts and Uncles (that includes Bobby). They always ask when they get to see them next. So, this post is dedicated to their tireless energy, the hugs and smiles, the game playing, the tickling, the sword fights, the book reading, the piggy back rides, the endless times of being kicked, hit, and tackled--Jackson and Reagan think you guys are the greatest. I love to see the sparkle in their eyes and their huge smiles when we mention your names--there is nothing more important to them than you guys (and grandmas and grandpas, of course). We love you, Adam and Melissa, Buck and Elise, AD and Heather, Weeze and Bobby, Laura, Dan, Sharon (and they can't wait to begin bugging Dave when he gets back from his mission in September)!
